Acquisition
Trade: Roundtable Hold
- Trade the Elden Remembrance, gained by defeating the Elden Beast, with Finger Reader Enia.
- Alternatively, use one of the Wandering Mausoleums to duplicate one (can only obtain one per playthrough using either method).
Notes
- Its innate skill, Wave of Gold, is a somewhat slow but very wide and pretty long-range attack that is very hard to dodge without a roll.
- Its long-lasting nature does make it somewhat vulnerable to desyncing making its visual model and its hitbox becoming quite disconnected if there are any problems in connection between a Host of Fingers and an Invader.
- Despite its golden, holy appearance it scales by far the best with Dexterity, with both Strength and Faith providing more moderate benefits to the weapon's Attack Power.
- While both a Strength-Dexterity hybrid build and a Dexterity-Faith hybrid build gains slightly less Attack Power compared to a pure Dexterity build, a Dexterity-Faith hybrid build does gain the benefit of higher Attack Power for the skill and access to supportive and defensive Incantations.
- Surprisingly compatible with Sword of Milos, another weapon that also scales well with Dexterity for easy dual-wield compatibility and also replenishes a small amount of FP per kill, letting the skill be used more often without using the Flask of Cerulean Tears.
- This is one of only two Greatswords with a boost to Critical Attacks, along with the Lordsworn's Greatsword.
Trivia
- The Sacred Relic Sword was forged from the corpse of Radagon of the Golden Order and brandished by the Elden Beast.
- In Version 1.00 the Attribute requirements were slightly different, at 15 Strength, 16 Dexterity, and 20 Faith.
