Misbegotten is a species of creature in Elden Ring.
The Misbegotten are malformed beings that exhibit characteristics of different types of animals, often possessing tails, horns, scales, and wings. They are held to be a punishment for making contact with the Crucible, and are often treated as slaves.[1] They often wield large, iron weapons steeped in resentment.[2]
Misbegotten were employed as slaves at Castle Morne, however they rebelled against the forces stationed there and took over the castle.[3] Later, after the Tarnished assisted Castellan Edgar in retrieving the Grafted Blade Greatsword, Edgar's daughter Irina was seemingly murdered by surviving Misbegotten.
Many Misbegotten can be found in Miquella's Haligtree, having seemingly found sanctuary there.
Another variation, the Misbegotten Warrior, can also be encountered throughout the Lands Between.
Common Misbegotten that wield iron cleavers. They can be found throughout the Lands Between, and are seemingly used for slave labour. They possess vestigial wings, however they do not possess the ability to fly.
