Description

Scorpion simmered in a black soup. Traditional meal of the hornsent.

Boosts physical damage negation temporarily and gradually restores HP.

Once made with love by a certain elderly woman for the family table. Having long gone cold, this soup gives off a rank, sour smell.

Acquisition

Quest Reward: Belurat, Tower Settlement

• Given by the Hornsent Grandam if speaking to her while wearing the Divine Beast Head.
  • Only one Scorpion Stew can be held at a time. A second, concurrent Stew can be acquired only by putting the first one in the Item Box and the speaking to the Hornsent Grandam again.

Guaranteed drop: Belurat, Tower Settlement

• One is dropped by the Hornsent Grandam if killed.

Effect

Grants a Body Buff increasing Physical Damage Negation by +10% (+8% against other players) and a Health Regeneration Buff that heals for 8 HP/s. Both effects last for 60 seconds, meaning that a total of 480 HP can be healed.

Notes

• The Healing-over-time effect is as strong as that of Blessing's Boon, though the shorter duration means that its total healing is 33% lower (540 total HP healed instead of the Blessing's 720 total HP healed).
• Can be given to Hornsent (NPC) when he is at the Three-Path Cross Site of Grace in Gravesite Plain once for some unique dialogue and then 3 Furnace Visages if spoken to again. This has no impact on his questline and is only possible before Miquella's Great Rune breaks.
