Skill: Divine Beast Frost Stomp is a Skill in ELDEN RING (2022).

A skill which imitates the wrath of the divine beast's dance. Lift a leg up high and stamp it down with great force. Sends a powerful wave of frost straight out along the ground. Can be charged to increase power and range.

Effect Effect

The user raises their right foot up high, then stamps it down to the ground, sending forth an expanding wave of ice spikes, with each ice spike dealing Attack Power Magic 130 base Magic Attack Power and inflicting Frostbite 70 points of base Frostbite build-up. After a brief moment, the spice spikes shatter, with each dealing Attack Power Magic 30 base Magic Attack Power and inflicting Frostbite 110 points of base Frostbite build-up.

Charging the skill has the user hold their foot up high for a while longer, then stamps it down with great force, sending forth a great wave of ice spikes that travel a far distance, with each ice spike dealing Attack Power Magic 180 base Magic Attack Power and inflicting Frostbite 70 points of base Frostbite build-up. After a brief delay, the spice spikes shatter, with each dealing Attack Power Magic 45 base Magic Attack Power and inflicting Frostbite 110 points of base Frostbite build-up.

If performing without the sufficient FP FP or stat requirements, no ice spikes are created, and the stomp deals only Attack Power Standard 10 base Standard Attack Power when uncharged, and Attack Power Standard 15 base Standard Attack Power when charged.

Frame data

The spikes start to spread on frame 26/0.87 seconds in. The skill takes 45 frames/1.50 seconds to perform.

Charging the skill delays the spike spread to frame 44/1.47 seconds in. The charged skill takes 63 frames/2.10 seconds to perform.

Boosting

Strategies

  • On larger targets (Erdtree Avatars and such) both the spikes and the shatter can each hit twice.
  • A strong offhand skill due to its good Frostbite build-up and damage.
    • Does have somewhat mediocre range, at about 2 character lengths.
    • Assuming that both the spikes and the shatter only hits once, just two casts of this skill can inflict Frostbite on most enemies. Another two casts can inflict it on even fairly resistant enemies.
