ER Custom Icon Acquisition.png Acquisition

Effect Effect

The user steps forward and imbues the weapon with blue glintstone magic, then leaps into the air and performs an ascending slash, dealing 40% of the weapon's Attack Power as well as an additional Attack Power Magic 30 base Magic Attack Power. Then, the user descends with an accelerating sweeping slash that deals 100% of the weapon's Attack Power as well as an additional Attack Power Magic 60 base Magic Attack Power.

If performing with Loretta's War Sickle, the weapon is imbued with particularly powerful glintstone magic, signifying increased power. The ascending slash deals 80% of the weapon's Attack Power as well as an additional Attack Power Magic 34 base Magic Attack Power, while the accelerating sweeping slash on the descent deals 172% of the weapon's Attack Power as well as an additional Attack Power Magic 68 base Magic Attack Power.

Has heavy Hyper Armor just before the leap. Super Armor is granted while the user is airborne.

Jumping Invincibility Frames are active from the start of the first attack until the start of the second attack.

If performing without the sufficient FP FP or stat requirements, the ascending slash deals only 40% of the weapon's Attack Power, while the accelerating sweeping slash on the descent deals only 100% of the weapon's Attack Power. With Loretta's War Sickle, the ascending slash deals 50% of the weapon's Attack Power, while the accelerating sweeping slash on the descent deals 120% of the weapon's Attack Power. The weapon is no longer imbued with blue glintstone magic, meaning that it does not deal any additional Attack Power Magic base Magic Attack Power.

Frame data

The first attack happens at frame 20/0.67 seconds in and the second attack at frame 45/1.50 seconds in.

This skill has Hyper Armor from frame 13/0.43 seconds in until frame 60/2.00 seconds in.

The jump is active from frame 20/0.67 seconds in until frame 47/1.57 seconds in.

Notes Notes

  • The ascending slash costs Stamina 10 points of Stamina, while the accelerating sweeping slash on the descent costs Stamina 25 points of Stamina.
    • For the Loretta's War Sickle variant, the ascending slash costs Stamina 16 points of Stamina, while the accelerating sweeping slash on the descent costs Stamina 22 points of Stamina.

  • All attacks have a Damage Level of 3 (Long Stagger).
  • The extra Magic Attack Power on each hit scales with the weapon's upgrade level and the wielder's Intelligence.
    • Intelligence-scaling is greatly increased by Magic Affinity and slightly increased by the Cold affinity.
      • The Loretta's War Sickle has stronger scaling, giving up to 8.3% more Attack Power, but the weapon itself doesn't benefit as much from Intelligence as Magic Affinity weapons do.
    • Attack Power is always at least 120 (136 for Loretta's War Sickle) for the first attack and 240 (272 for Loretta's War Sickle) for the second attack for a weapon at maximum upgrade level.
      • A Magic Affinity and 45 or 80 Intelligence gives 172 Attack Power for the first attack and 344 Attack Power for the second attack respectively 187 Attack Power for the first attack and 374 Attack Power for the second attack, a Cold Affinity and 30, 45, or 60 Intelligence gives 152 Attack Power for the first attack and 304 Attack Power for the second attack, 164 Attack Power for the first attack and 328 Attack Power for the second attack, respectively 171 Attack Power for the first attack and 342 Attack Power for the second attack, and a Standard, Heavy, Keen, or Quality Affinity and 20, 30, or 45 Intelligence gives 142 Attack Power for the first attack and 284 Attack Power for the second attack, 149 Attack Power for the first attack and 298 Attack Power for the second attack, respectively 160 Attack Power for the first attack and 320 Attack Power for the second attack.
      • Loretta's War Sickle and 20, 45, or 80 Intelligence grants 155 Attack Power for the first attack and 310 Attack Power for the second attack, 184 Attack Power for the first attack and 363 Attack Power for the second attack, and 203 Attack Power for the first attack and 405 Attack Power for the second attack.

Boosting

Strategies

  • Pairs decently well with the Cold Affinity since both attacks have 100% Status Effect build-up.
  • While the extra Magic Attack Power on the thrust is fairly low and therefore will be harshly impacted by an enemy's flat defence, it means that a weapon that already has Magic Attack Power (whether that is innately, from an affinity, or from a Weapon Buff) will deal a decent bit more damage than otherwise due to being more able to overcome defence.
  • The first attack is a true combo with the second attack, meaning that any player hit by the first attack cannot dodge the second one (unless the skill's user manages to entirely miss them).
    • The Scythe's unique charged heavy attack also has a true combo with this skill. This means that an enemy hit by the Scythe's fully charged heavy attack cannot avoid either hit of this skill.
  • While it may look like the character is jumping during this skill and they receive the same invincibility Frames as a jump, it is NOT boosted by the Claw Talisman or other jump attack boosts.
