Soft Cotton

Soft Cotton is a craftable, consumable tool in ELDEN RING ⁽²⁰²²⁾.

Description

A soft but sturdy cotton formed from splitting open Rowa fruit in a particular manner.
Craftable item.

Attaching this cotton to the bottom of one's feet allows for a temporary reduction in fall damage and sound.

If you must court danger, at the very least, tread lightly.

Can be crafted after acquiring the Nomadic Warrior's Cookbook [7], found at the end of a broken bridge towards Liurnia of the Lakes that is north of Stormhill Shack and to the east of Stormveil Castle.
Found in Woodfolk Ruins, near a wall surrounded by Slugs.
Found in a side tunnel at the end of Morne Tunnel, opposite the door to the boss.
Found on the first part of the bridge to the Divine Tower of Limgrave, behind the Waygate to the second part of the bridge.
3 found under an archway in Nokron, Eternal City just before the building that holds the Fingerslayer Blade.
Found south-southeast of the Ancient Snow Valley Ruins Site of Grace in Mountaintops of the Giants, just below the bridge south of Stargazer's Ruins.

Negates non-lethal damage and heavily reduced the noise made by moving for 20 seconds. Counts as a Fall Damage Negation Buff.

The fall damage negation isn't the most useful but the sound reduction lets one run while still staying unnoticed if you are out of sight which is quite strong.
