ER Custom Icon Description.png Description

Curved greatswords of black steel wielded by General Radahn. A pair of weapons decorated with a lion mane motif.

Radahn earned considerable renown as the Starscourge in his youth, and it is said that it was during this time he engraved the gravity crest upon these blades.

Notes Notes

  • The Unique Skill: Starcaller Cry is essentially a superpowered version of the Skill: Gravitas, able to pull enemies in and then use an empowered heavy attack as a follow-up to smash them into the ground.
  • Has a 30% damage bonus against Gravity-affinity enemies.
  • Scales best with Strength until it reaches 54, whereafter Dexterity-scaling becomes equally strong until it the former reaches 80 or the latter reaches 40. Intelligence-scaling is mostly irrelevant for weapon damage.
  • Despite being paired weapon it still receives the 50% Strength-bonus from two-handing.
    • Note that it doesn't get the usual two-handed bonus to Stance damage. In fact, the Stance damage from the two-handed dual-wield attacks is weaker than the Stance damage of the one-handed light attacks (5.4+5.4 vs 14.4). However, the two-handed jumping dual-wield attacks deal an unusually large amount of Stance damage (10.8+10.8 vs 18.72).
  • Average weight for a Colossal Sword, effectively allowing dual-wielding with half the weight and therefore with much less required Endurance.
  • Two-handing replaces the light attack, including all its derivatives, with dual-wield attacks. Blocking also becomes available while heavy attacks remain the same.
    • This means two-handed dual-wield attacks will deal more damage than heavy attacks, though the latter will still deal more Stance damage per hit.
    • These two-handed dual wield light attacks deal on average more damage than if two Starscourge Greatswords' are dual wielded, having modifiers on par with the final attack in the regular dual wield attack chain.
  • These are the shortest Colossal Sword in the game.
