A Blood Oath incantation, shared from the Lord of Blood's power.
Releases a swarm of bloodflies before the caster to assault foes. The vile swarm deals damage and builds up onset of blood loss. This incantation can be cast while in motion.
The new palace of the Lord of Blood lies in a swamp of festering blood, and these flies are said to spawn from excrement in that land.
After the swarm impacts on someone or something, it expands into a stationary cloud of bloodflies that can hit up to 5 times and has Standard Attack Power equal to 15% of Incantation Scaling and also inflicts Blood Loss, both as a flat 70 build-up and as a bloodflame effect that inflicts 80 build-up over 2 seconds (150 build-up per hit in total).
Sacred Bloody Flesh: Consumable; grants an 18% boost to weapon damage when blood loss occurs nearby.
White Mask: Adds an additional 10% boost to weapon and spell damage when blood loss occurs nearby.
The flat 70 Blood Loss build-up inflicted by the cloud part of the spell can scale with Arcane if cast using the Dragon Communion Seal, up to 102 build-up (182 build-up in total with the bloodflame effect) with a +10 Seal at 99 Arcane.
With a +10 Seal: at 45 Arcane the build-up will be 93 (173 build-up in total), and at 80 Arcane the build-up will be 100 (180 build-up in total).
Strategies
Since the cloud form is stationary it is very easy for enemies to move out of it and not receive all hits. As such, it is best to try to cast the spell as an enemy is about to stand still or be more passive.
If all hits land this spell can inflict between 750 and 905 Blood Loss build-up, depending on if the Dragon Communion Seal is used and on how much Arcane the caster has.
This is possible because the Blood Loss ticks from the bloodflame effect can stack if hitting the enemy multiple times.
Increased the flat Blood Loss build-up inflicted by the cloud.
This increased the flat Blood Loss build-up on cloud hits from 40 to 70. This increased the total Blood Loss build-up per hit from 120 to 150. This change was undocumented in the patch notes.
This decreased the flat Blood Loss build-up on cloud hits from 75 to 40 but also increased the cloud's bloodflame Blood Loss build-up from 40/2 seconds to 80/2 seconds. This actually slightly increased the total Blood Loss build-up from 115 build-up per hit to 120 build-up per hit.
