Troll Knight's Sword is a melee armament in ELDEN RING ⁽²⁰²²⁾.

Greatsword embedded with a blue glintstone. Weapon of the trolls in service to the royal family of Caria.

Called into service when the Queen invoked an oath they swore, the trolls are treated as true knights of Caria, and fight arm in arm with their human comrades.

Acquisition

Guaranteed drop: Caria Manor ^{(Liurnia of the Lakes)}

• Guaranteed drop from the Troll Knight in Carian Manor, just before Royal Knight Loretta, the first time it's killed.

Drop: Caria Manor / Converted Fringe Tower / The Four Belfries ^{(Liurnia of the Lakes)}

• 4% drop chance from all Troll Knights.
  • The one in Caria Manor is most easily farmed, in addition to its guaranteed first-time drop of the sword, by starting at the Royal Moongazing Grounds Site of Grace and heading back into the Manor.
  • The spectral Troll Knights at the Four Belfries are also farmable, by starting at either the top or the bottom of the hill.

Notes

• The skill, Troll's Roar, is a strong area attack around the user, followed by an overhead slam. Though both of these attacks are slow, they can cause immense Stance damage (76 in total if both land).
  • This sword's version of the skill has strongest scaling and highest possible damage for the initial roar, even compared to a Heavy Affinity weapon, due to the strong base Strength-scaling.
• Has unique one- and two-handed heavy attacks and charged heavy attacks, where the first attack in each two-attack chain is replaced by a thrust. This trait is shared with the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword , Fire Knight's Greatsword , Moonrithyll's Knight Sword , and Zweihander.
  • This gives the weapon the versatility of having a thrust attack besides the crouching light attack.
• Scales best with an even split between Strength and Dexterity (883 Attack Power), though a pure Strength build has only 6% less Attack Power (831) in exchange for 15% more initial damage with the skill (1,349 Attack Power vs 1,175 Attack Power).
  • Intelligence is largely useless for this weapon beyond the wielding requirement, due to the low base Magic Attack Power and Intelligence-scaling. Terra Magica can slightly increase the damage it deals, but since the Magic Attack Power is only about a quarter of the total Attack Power the effect is rather weak.

Upgrading

• The Troll Knight's Sword is upgraded with Somber Smithing Stones.
• The Troll Knight's Sword cannot have its affinities changed with Ashes of War or Whetblades.
