The Twinbird is scarcely mentioned in the Lands Between. It is portrayed as a two-headed bird with half-red and half-blue or black plumage.
The Twinbird is said to be the envoy of an Outer God, and the mother of the Deathbirds.[1] Its whereabouts are unknown, and only its offspring being seen throughout the Lands Between. The colour of its plumage may be alluded to by the red and blue feathers on the Red-Feathered Branchsword and Blue-Feathered Branchsword used in ancient Death rituals before the age of the Erdtree.[2][3][4]
