Craftable with a perfume bottle.

Uses FP to raise the attack power of the user and nearby allies while also reducing the damage from one incoming attack by half.

This aromatic has an extremely potent morale-raising effect that makes those accustomed to it fearless in the face of death. It was this influence that made the perfumers exceptional commanders.

Effects

The Uplifting Aromatic scatters golden sparks that envelops the user and their allies in a pleasant scent, increasing their Physical damage by +10% (+7.5% against other players) as an Aura Buff. The Uplifting Aromatic also grants its beneficiaries a golden bubble that decreases all the damage of the next hit taken by -90% as a Unique Buff.

Both the Aura Buff and the Unique Buff of the Uplifting Aromatic last for 40 seconds.

Frame data

The Buffs become active on frame 21/0.70 seconds in. The entire usage takes 73 frames/2.43 seconds to perform.

Notes

• Costs 22 points of FP to use.
• The Perfume Bottle is returned upon use.
• The Perfumer's Talisman does not boost the effectiveness of the Uplifting Aromatic as it deals no damage.
• The Opaline Bubbletear's damage negation effect stacks multiplicatively with the Uplifting Aromatic for a +99% damage reduction, however, the user is still allowed one hit before both bonuses are lost.
  • Using another Uplifting Aromatic will not stack the damage negation, but it will refresh the duration of any currently active damage boost or bubble and will grant another bubble if the previous one was broken.
• Although the description says it reduces damage from one attack "by half", the actual damage negation bonus is +90%.
• The damage reducing-bubble only ends if it prevents the buffed character from taking damage. If the damage of an attack is reduced to 0 (such as a Physical attack against a shield with 100% Physical Guarded Damage Negation) then the bubble won't break.

Strategies

• An extremely strong reusable Buff due to the damage reducing bubble, especially against other players, though with the distinct disadvantage of requiring the very rare Arteria Leaves.

Trivia

• Used by the Perfumers, though with their version, the golden sparks can reapply the Damage Negation buff as long as their allies are in the vicinity.
