Verdigris is said to be the gift of an outer god. Possessed of an enormously hefty yet supple strength thanks to its rusted nature.

Acquisition

Guaranteed Drop & Loot from Moore.
Its location and availability can be determined by the player's dialogue-choices as they talk to Moore about the breaking of Miquella's great rune:

• Scadu Altus - If the player tells Moore to "Remain sad forever".
  • Moore will quietly move to the cliffs north of the Church of the Crusade, where he can be found huddled up next to a motionless forager brood. Here, this item can be safely recovered from his body, with no need for a fight.
• Enir-Ilim - If the player selects "Put it behind you" when talking to Moore.
  • Moore will appear at the Cleansing Chamber as one of the potential enemies in the Miquellan Loyalists bossfight.
  • Defeating the loyalists will make this item appear on his body, which can be found in the arena after the battle is won.

Gravesite Plain / Scadu Altus - The player can also get this item from killing Moore when he invades as retribution for the murder of two forager brood members.

• Note that Moore will not drop his bell bearing if killed in this manner, thus making that item inaccessible for the rest of the playthrough.

Notes

• This item is part of the Verdigris Set.
• Can be sold to merchants for 500.
• Can be left for other players to pick up in online play.
• Can be discarded.
