Going to the Weeping Peninsula

Time to go South. The reason we have skipped a lot of stuff is because the Weeping Peninsula is easier than Limgrave and it will help you to level up so that you are better prepared for the bigger challenges at Limgrave.

From the place where you beat up Darriwil, just go South-East. Somewhat close is a bridge guarded with a lot of enemies. Simply run past them with Torrent. Ignore them until you cross to the other side (most enemies will forget about you when you cross).

The Peninsula; Irina

As soon as you cross, you will find a Grace to the West, and an NPC, who is called Irina, to the East. Speak with Irina to learn about her situation. Leaving a blind girl alone seems rash, but the game only lets you accept her request of delivering a letter to her father.

Before that, take a detour to find the next Map Fragment. After you find it, you can explore freely the peninsula or continue with Irina's quest.

Castle Morne

To continue with Irina's quest you have to follow the road South from where Irina is until you find Castle Morne, which is guarded by a golem which you can ignore or kill. There is a Grace inside the castle, near the entrance.

While inside, you can take the lift to the second floor where you will find that the Misbegotten have rebelled against and killed the people on the castle. Edgar (Irina's father) is found on top of a tower on the upper floor, and you'll have to fight your way there.

Deliver the letter to Edgar when you find him. He will tell you that honor bounds him to quell the rebellion first. You can help him do that by killing the Misbegotten leader.

To get there, you will have to do some parkour. From where Edgar is, go to the southern wall and jump down. Keep jumping down on safe places until you eventually reach the fogged entrance that you can see on the distance.

Note for new players:
Notice that the game will expect you to do "parkour" or jump around in many areas of the game.
