Unlike the other origins, this one only starts out with one piece of equipment, the club.

Build Optimization
For people who wish to select an origin that will have the most optimal stat distribution for a build with the fewest stat points wasted, Wretch does not specialize by lowering any particular stat below 10 and as a result is rarely the optimal choice - but not never.
Omnicaster
A build that uses Intelligence, Faith and Arcane to cast every type of spell available is one where the Wretch is surprisingly the most efficient, sharing this accolade with the Astrologer. Every other origin wastes more points in this type of build than the Wretch does, which arguably gives the Wretch more build utility than the Warrior or Confessor overall.
